Whether this is your first or third pregnancy, support is always a necessity. Together we’ll create a customized plan for each trimester with exercise tips, nutritious foods and recipes, self-care routines and routine check-ins with me based on your needs. I’ll also provide educational resources and support contacts so you can feel prepared for your journey.

This class will cover childbirth methods, stages of labor, developing a birthing plan and what to expect in the hospital labor room. You will also learn about pain management techniques, how your birth partner can encourage you during labor and what you should pack to bring with you for a comfortable stay at the hospital.

When selected to be your birth doula, I’ll provide continuous physical and emotional support prior to, during, and after delivery for you, your partner and your baby. I will help prepare you and your partner for the incredible journey with evidence-based knowledge and help you make informed, confident decisions.

Producing breast milk is natural, but the skill of latching the baby onto the breast is learned. I take the guesswork and anxiety out of this important choice. My shared goal is to explore what works for you and your baby within the first weeks and months after giving birth.

Becoming a parent is a major life changing event. It can be wonderful but also stressful. I will provide you with resources that ease your transition from hospital to home as a new family. Education includes how to bond with your baby, infant cues and typical newborn behavior, feeding, diapering, bathing and skincare tips, circumcision care, sleep and car seat safety, and much more!
